Inviting a Guest to the online Festival?

C flute players and non-flutist guest performers (i.e. pianists, guitarists) who want to attend one online event do not pay a Festival fee or need to join the Society. Share the Zoom link we send you with them.

C flute players and other non-flutist guest performers who want to attend several events will need to register and pay the Festival fee ($20 one-day, $40 three-days) but do not need to join the Society.

If a Society member would like to invite ONE colleague/friend who is a low flutes player to view an event or a days worth of events, the $20 one-day fee would be paid by either person. The Society member MUST enter that person’s name on their registration form in the Additional Name field (specify guest) or notify us separately. The $20 payment would be made by clicking on the Festival fee link on the website.  If this guest wants to attend more than one day, they would need to join the Society, register and pay the full Festival fee.

 

For FUTURE (2028)  In-person Festivals – Our Policy will probably be something similar to the following.

Guests Attending Only One Event
If your guest is only coming to one event, we are not charging a fee. Please just provide us with the guest’s name on the registration form so we can have a badge waiting for them at the registration table.
This could include accompanists, composers, family members or c flute players in your flute choir who are only attending/playing in one performance.

Non-Flutist Guests Attending More Than One Event
If your guest would like to attend more than one event, attend other concerts or workshops or visit the exhibit hall, they would pay the festival fee TBD for one day or for the whole Festival. Please provide us with your guest’s name on the registration form and select the corresponding payment option at registration.
This could include accompanists, composers or family members who are going to attend more than just one event at the festival.

Non-flutists do not have to become members of the Society.

C Flute Players Attending the Festival
If you are a C-Flute Player only and would like to attend the Festival, the registration fee is TBD for One Day and TBD for the Full Festival. C-Flute players do not have to become members of the Society.
If you are a C-Flute player who is part of a flute choir that is playing at the festival and are only going to be attending your flute choir’s performance and then leaving, there is no fee, and you do not have to fill out the registration form.

Flute Choir Directors please indicate in your roster which of your C-Flute players will be only attending to play in your performance.
