Our Opening and Closing choirs will be open to everyone once they have joined the Society and paid the Festival fee. You will be able to sign up for either or both choirs when registration for the Festival opens on mid-February. You will be sent PDF’s of the music to practice ahead of time and will play along with an existing video.
Opening Celebration Choir
Christina Steffen will be conducting the opening choir which will play on Friday, March 27th at approximately 10:45 AM Eastern time. The group will be playing Joy and Energy from Jonathan Cohen’s Love Letter to Sharyn and the low flutes arrangement of Kelly Via’s By Kells Waters. Parts will be available for download from our website about 3 weeks before the Festival. Since you will be playing along with a video, headphones, a desktop or laptop is preferred for audio reasons.

Closing Farewell Choir
Our traditional Valse from Alex Molnar-Suhajda’s Voices from the Deep will be conducted by Society President Chris Potter. We will begin at approximately 5:30 PM Eastern time on Sunday, March 29th. Parts will be available for download from our website about 3 weeks before the Festival. Since you will be playing along with a video, headphones, a desktop or laptop is preferred for audio reasons.
