The Professional Low Flutes Choir (Pro Low) will play a concert at the festival (time tbd) and will have TWO  in-person rehearsal at the festival. Repertoire includes Russell Scarbrough’s Body Alive With Signals and Kovalamaca (Chase) by Turkish composer Oya Çınar Kanık.

THE REGISTRATION Deadline for the Pro Low Choir is FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15th by 11:59 PM Eastern Time. We will send out the audition music up until Dec. 16th. Audition recordings are due January 15th.

The Pro Low Choir is Open by Audition Only and there is a $25 audition fee. Membership in the International Low Flutes Society is also required.

Pro Low registration and audition material will be available beginning Nov. 1st. The music will be sent once you have paid the $25 audition fee and become a member of the Society.

If you are accepted into the ensemble you agree to attend the festival at your own expense, and pay the festival registration fee.

Ece Karşal was born in İzmir, Turkey and began her music education at Istanbul University State Conservatory at a young age. She also graduated from the Mathematics Department of Marmara University Faculty of Science during her conservatory education. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Istanbul University State Conservatory and served as a flutist and piccolo player in the orchestra.

You can audition on Alto, Bass or Contra, but if you would like to play another instrument on the concert please indicate on the registration form. We will not be having people change instruments during the concert.

You will receive the audition music once we have received your payment and confirming your membership in the society.
