The Lincoln Memorial

The memorial to 16th President is one of the most iconic sights on the National Mall. It was on the steps of the memorial that Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech. Another famous speech, Lincoln’s Gettysburg address is carved into the south wall.
